Our amazing staff has stepped up and created wonderful clubs to give our students the opportunity to explore a variety non-traditional learning experience during the regular school day.

Students will be given time to sign up for clubs that interest them.  Each month students will participate in a new club, giving them a chance to explore many different topics of interest. With 32 clubs to choose from, there is bound to be something for everyone.

Students are encouraged to select clubs they already feel passionate about or explore new and exciting interests they wish to pursue.

Involvement in school clubs has many benefits, including the development of essential life skills, expansion of friendships, and closer connection to our community. Furthermore, active participation in school clubs is known to have a positive effect on academic growth and achievement. In a study done by the United States Department of Education, “It was revealed that students who participated in extracurricular activities are three times more likely to have a grade point average of 3.0 or higher.”

Some of the essential life skills students can gain through involvement in clubs and organizations include goal setting, time management and prioritization; multi-tasking and analytical thinking; teamwork, public speaking, and leadership. Finally, highlighting school clubs and extracurricular activities in the future, on college and job applications, increases student’s chances of college acceptance and employability.
