This week is Ohio Public Education Appreciation Week, from our dedicated teachers and support staff to our food service teams, transportation, custodians, maintenance, bus drivers, aides, office staff, community partners, administrators, and Board of Education—every person plays a vital role in shaping the daily experiences of our students.
Thank you for all you do to support public education and our Tiger students every single day! 🧡🐾📚

We are excited to invite you to join the Galion City Schools District Wellness Committee—a team dedicated to promoting and supporting the health and wellness of our students and school community.
You are being invited because you play an important role in the lives of our students. Your voice and perspective are incredibly valuable as we work together to support the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of all students. Whether you’re a staff member, student, parent, or community leader, your insights and contributions are highly valued.
This committee meets quarterly and is also a requirement to maintain compliance with USDA and Department of Education and Workforce (DEW) regulations.
📅 First Meeting: Monday, December 1, 2025
🕓 Time: 4:00 PM
📍 Location: Central Office Conference Room
We would love for you to be a part of this important work. If you have any questions or would like more information, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me at hunter.dawn@galionschools.org
Thank you for your continued commitment to the well-being of our students. We hope to see you there!

Sponsored by The Columbus Foundation, The Big Table was launched in 2016 as an annual event designed to bring people together to listen, learn, and share ideas about their communities.
Through a Zoom session organized by Kriston Bourdage from Partnerships for Authentic Learning and Leadership, our students had the chance to connect with 8th graders from Union Local School District.
Despite a few technical hiccups, the students truly enjoyed engaging with new people and learning about different communities! 💙🧡

Here are your Quarter 1 All-A Honor Roll and A/B Honor Roll students!
