Good Evening Tigers! Due to the cold temperatures and expected snow fall, the Galion City Schools, will be on a 2-hr delay Tuesday, Jan 16th. There will be no morning ROAR or morning pre-school.

Effective January 1, 2024 the Galion City School Board of Education will have an open seat. If you have questions about the role and responsibility of the position, feel free to call our office. As the winter weather sets in, make sure you and your children are prepared for winter weather school bus safety with these tips:
- Dress for the Weather: Dress your child warmly for winter with layers, including a hat, gloves and a coat to stay comfortable in changing temperatures.
- Stay Visible: Ensure your child is visible to the bus driver in dark winter days by adding reflective elements to their clothing or backpack during early morning and late afternoon trips.
- Stay Up to Date: Stay updated on bus schedule changes or delays.
- Stay Safe: Remind your child to be aware of winter hazards like slippery sidewalks and ice; additionally, encourage them to wait a safe distance from the road and to be cautious when getting on and off of the bus.
